The Bibro family has always had a clear guitar problem. In the Bibro House, visitors will often find that all the couches, chairs, wall space, free space, and non-free spaces are occupied by an assortment of guitars.  The house’s design is much more accommodating to 6 string instruments than it is to people; and as for the people who live there, well they much prefer guitars to people so it all just makes sense.

It’s no surprise that combined with a love of wood working, this terminal guitar addiction quickly blossomed into a highly adventurous guitar making business. 

On the Bibro property in the woods of Maine, you’ll find a detailed workshop that every single Bibro guitar is built in by hand, one at a time by the family.

The goal has been the same from our first guitar ever built, create handmade guitars that offer more than what the standard factory guitars can accomplish.

We carefully source the ideal materials, and methodically plan each new instrument with the customer in mind. When you get in contact with Bibro guitars, we are looking to get to know you. What is your style? What kind of music will you be playing? What is your creative vision?  Our guitar making process is designed to be inspired by the musicians that will ultimately own their very own Bibro Custom Guitar.

We do not only build a relationship with the musician inspiring the instrument.  We build a relationship with each guitar we build, and when we finally ship our instruments off to their new owners, it is not easy to see them go.
